Hamrick School was established in 1980 as Hamrick Truck Driving School, a privatly held corporation, owned by founder and President Denver Hamrick. In November 2005, the school name changed to Hamrick School to prepare for the addition of Allied Health Programs. At that time the facility was expanded to accomodate the addition of a program in Massage Therapy.  
 
Hamrick School is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), approved by the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools, the Ohio State Medical Board, and licensed by the Ohio Department of Public Safety through the Governor's Highway Safety Office, 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43218-2081
