Job Description

 

Brown Mackie College–North Canton is currently seeking adjunct instructors to teach classes in the following areas:

 

  • Ethics~ requires a Masters degree in Ethics, Philosophy,  or Medical Ethics
  • Technology~ requires a Masters’s Degree in Computer Science; MCSE certification preferred
  • Sociology~ requires a Master’s Degree in Sociology
  • Practical Nursing~ requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
  • Physics~ requires a Master’s Degree in Physics
  • CADD~ requires a Master Degree’s in Engineering, Graphic Design or Architecture
  • Anatomy & Physiology ~requires a Masters degree in Biology OR Doctor of Chiropractic
  • Pharmacy Technology~ Certified Pharmacy Technicians with a related Bachelor’s degree, Licensed Pharmacists, or those with a BS in Pharmaceutical Science & at least two years work experience
  • Medical Assisting~ Certified Medical Assistants with a related Associate degree & at least 2 years work experience

 

  • Schedule

Our students take one course at a time for four weeks & attend class 12 months per year.  Day classes are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:30am to 12:20pm.  Evening classes are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6pm to 9:50pm.

 

  • Position Summary:
    Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of the course competencies in the curriculum and proactively support all facets of the learning environment. Provide education through learning-centered instruction that will enable graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. Encourage a culture of learning that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning and ethics as well as personal and professional development.
