EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS.... Our client, one of the premiere providers of Pediatric Therapy Services in San Antonio and surrounding area, is looking to expand their team of professionals for the 2009-2010 School Year and definitely beyond! If you are looking for a change, or if you are relocating to the San Antonio area...then this is for you! We are looking for Occupational Therapists who are passionate about working with kids, and dedicated to providing the very best possible treatment. This position can either be as an "Independent Contractor" or as an "Employee"..where they take care of the taxes for you. You can work either "full-time" or "part-time"...and have a flexible schedule. This position will begin now and last until for the remainder of the school year...and very possibly beyond! You can even work a reduced schedule curing the summer months (about 25 hours per week) doing home-based therapy and working in a clinic. Your primary job during the school year will be working in the public schools, but you will also have the opportunity to work in Pediatric Home Care and Early Childhood Intervention settings and if you desire, you could even work with adult/geriatric populations as well! You will be working in the local public schools, charter schools, Early Intervention Home Care, and possibly clinic settings, applying your skills and working in a team oriented practice. Until the end of the school year, you would be working 3 days per week with the students in the public schools. Beginning in mid-June, you will wok up to 20 hours per week visiting children in a Pediatric Home Care setting. With over 50 therapists and assistants working with the local kids, YOU can really make a difference here! You will be completing evaluations, working with parents and caregivers to make sure your treatment plans are being carried out properly, and supervising experienced COTAs in their daily activities.
